This web site is designed to inform both participants and public about the WW2 Veterans Day Commemorative Event in Adamstown Md. The event will be held on November 10th &11th from 9:00 - 5:00 and will feature living historians hosting displayes dipicting the many facets of WW2. These include weapons, uniforms, vehicles and personal items. The idea behind this event is to create an atmosphere that will educate the public about WW2. An allied encampment will be set up so that people can actualy see how soldiers lived in a rear area or one of the many allied encampments that were strewn accross England and France. The main focus of this event is two fold. 1. To commemorate our veterans on Veterans Day. 2. To do somthing possitive and constructive that would serve as a much needed educational tool on a day that many seem to forget about alltogether.
